The winning layout is now available for free online and is located in the publication's archives. The layout was created and designed by Michael Delia, who has been given the title of Creative Director at Space Lifestyle Magazine. Images from the awarded entry were provided by Rockeplane, Inc.

Graphic Design USA (GDUSA) honors those who win The American Inhouse Design Awards. GDUSA is the monthly business-to-business magazine for graphic design professionals and was established in 1963. According to GDUSA, for nearly four decades the magazine sponsored competitions honoring the best in creative and business communications.

To awardees, GDUSA released the following statement, "Each entry is judged against itself on its own merits, for excellence in creativity and effectiveness. As a practical matter, this results each year in a selection of between 10 percent and 15 percent of the entries as winners. 2008 is no different, though extremely competitive. A recordbreaking 5,500 entries were submitted and just a shade over 10 percent were honored with an embossed Award Certificate."

Space Lifestyle Magazine is the only digital edition publication on space and the space sector.
